Course Characteristics

In the Materials Chemistry Design course, students gain an understanding of the methods used to design and control the physical properties of materials such as ceramics and glass based on inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry while gaining broad, fundamental knowledge (general skills) in polymer science, inorganic materials science, synthetic organic chemistry, and biochemistry.
