Functional Materials Design

Course Characteristics

In the Functional Materials Design course, students gain an understanding of the methods used to design molecules that exhibit the functionality of biomolecules based on biochemistry while gaining broad, fundamental knowledge (general skills) in polymer science, inorganic materials science, synthetic organic chemistry, and biochemistry.
